The Case for Original Order
There are several reasons why returning to the original order is important. First and foremost, it provides context for understanding each book. In our present day Bibles, for example, the Book of Esther is sandwiched between Psalms and Job— three very different types of literature. But in its original order—before Chronicles and Ezra—the Book of Esther makes much more sense.

The second reason original order is important has to do with canonicity. When King James created his version of the Bible, he included several books that were not part of the original canon (e.g., Judith, Tobit, Sirach, Baruch, etc.), while excluding others that were (e.g., 3rd & 4th Esdras, parts of Daniel and Esther).
